

Born on December 11, 1949 in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Olivia Cabral. She was a graduate of the Girls Diman High School and for over 40 years owned, and operated The Shoe Box.
She is survived by her son, Jamie S. Bento and his wife Amanda and a stepson, David St. Laurent, and her granddaughters Antoinette and Cora St. Laurent and Hannah and Morgan Raposo. She was the sister of John Cabral, Olivia Cabral, Natalie Mello and Gary Cabral, and the late Louie Cabral and Paul Cabral. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Mary was a communicant at St. Joseph’s Church in Fall River. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafting but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as someone who always put family first, as someone who loved unconditionally and always tried to find the best in any situation. She will be deeply missed.
Her visiting hours will be held on Sunday December 13, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Due to current occupancy restrictions, please be mindful that guests may have to wait outside while others pay their respects. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 14, 2020 at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 N. Main St. Fall River. Those attending are kindly asked to follow all guidelines for safe social distancing. A private Christian burial will take place immediately following the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
