Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary E. (May) O’Connor, she lived in Fall River before moving to Somerset fifteen years ago. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.
In addition to being a homemaker, she worked part-time in local department stores including Apex, Cherry and Webb, McWhirr’s, and Edgar’s. Mrs. Wilson was known for having a “sweet tooth.” She enjoyed playing the organ and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son; John S. Wilson and his wife Julieann of Rehoboth, three daughters; Susan M. Ross-Kut and her husband Matthew Kut of Acushnet, Kathleen A. Oliver of Fall River, Nancy L. Ramos and her husband Larry of Westport, two brothers; Thomas O’Connor Jr. of FL, John “Jack” O’Connor of Swansea, one sister; Judith “Judy” Roncka of Berkley, eight grandchildren; Ian and Katelyn Ross, Jason and Joshua Oliver, Jessica Medeiros, Kathryn Oliver, Jillian and Jack Wilson, five great-grandchildren; Amelia Ross, Sophia, Gabriella, Samantha, and Ethan Oliver. She was sister of the late Eileen Gardullo and mother-in-law of the late Wayne R. Oliver.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00PM.
