Mike was one of the brightest, thoughtful, and intelligent people I have ever met. Mike could speak on just about any subject and in my many conversations with him he certainly opened my eyes up to many different viewpoints. He was a great guy with a big heart and he will be missed.
RIP Mikey

My only hope is that heaven has a basketball court so we can play at least one more pickup game... Miss those times bro. Rest easy and just know i’ll have the receptionist page you when i get up there. Thank you for always being cool and composed in just about any situation.
We’ll keep your memory alive my friend.

I was Mike’s high school track and field coach at New Bedford HS. He was always a kind, pleasant , friendly, dependable young man at New Bedford HS. Proud to have had the honor of coaching him. He always represented our team and school with pride and honor. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing

One of many memories I have about mike is when I first moved to the neighborhood. First people I met was Mike, Ben and Eric. From that point if we were not at the courts playing ball. Playing football at Hathaway school and playing baseball with the goodines in the big field near coUrts. Anyone reads this knows about me choking up on the bat situation. Lol. Tecmo Super Bowl and rbi baseball was big in our lives. Mike you was a huge part of my live. I looked up to you like my older brother. My heart goes out to your family and anyone else that’s suffering. God bless!!!!

For as long as I live, I will forever miss the deep and wise conversations Mike would engage me in. I will never forget the wonderful times we spent as families with our young children or as couples with the Gilbarg‘s. I’ll always remember the fun we had playing pool or ping-pong, a board game in the Cape, or sharing a meal with friends. Never will I let a day go by that I don’t find the humor in things or the joy in life, just as Mike did. Love and miss you forever Mike. ❤️
