Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Faith M. (Jeffers) Sadler. Nancy was a graduate of New Bedford High School, Class of 1952 and went on to work as a Secretary at Lincoln Park Amusement Park for 40 years.
An avid reader, Nancy also enjoyed traveling, sewing and needlepointing. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Fall River for many years and was a member of their choir.
She is survived by two children, Susan Stokes and her husband David of Fall River and David Comstock and his wife Susan of Westport; three grandchildren, Kristofer Stokes and his wife Lisa of Wilmington, Kelly Kalunga and her husband Patrick of Fall River and Kyle Comstock of Westport; five great-grandchildren, Shawn and Jackson Kalunga, Greyson, Samina and Walker Stokes as well as two nieces, Faith and Amy. Nancy was the sister of the late Ernest “Sandy” Sadler, Jr.
Her Funeral Services will be private.
