

Born in Fall River, son of the late Nicholas Capone Sr. and the late Theresa (Capuano) Capone, he was a lifelong city resident, educated in local schools and a communicant of Good Shepherd Church. He was employed as a cloth inspector at the former Duro Finishing for thirty six years.
A US Army veteran of World War II, he served as a sergeant in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe, with Company B 840th Engineer Battalion.
Surviving in addition to his wife, one daughter Patricia J. Souza and her husband Kenneth of Westport, one grandson Kris Souza and his wife Cory of Westport, one great granddaughter Lauryn Stella Souza, one sister Phyllis T. Corcoran of Westport and several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late John, Paul, Frank, Julian and Ralph Capone and Mary LaRoche.
His funeral will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 9 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter St. Fall River, followed by a funeral mass at 10 AM in Good Shepherd Church 1598 So. Main St. Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
