Born in Lisbon, Portugal, the son of the late Albano and Sofia (Rosa) Antao, he was a self-employed Carpenter for many years. While living in Portugal, Orlando was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Geralyn Cabral of Fall River; a sister Maria Odete André of Fall River; two brothers Jose Antao of Fall River and John Antao of Prospect, CT and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11am in Holy Name Church 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 10:30am in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
