

She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John J. and Rosella T. (Phillips) Drislan and was a lifelong resident of the city. Pat was a graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy and received her Bachelors Degree from Bridgewater State College. She was employed as a Teacher in the Fall River School Department for 30 years and worked at BCTC as a Counselor.
Pat enjoyed boating, spending time at the beach, sewing, and watching her grandson Brendan play basketball.
Pat is survived by her two children, David J. White and his wife Kim and Patricia A. Tavares and her husband Ken all of Fall River; three grandchildren Brendan White, Briana Monahan and Brysen Monahan and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rosemary Hess and John J. Drislan Jr. She is also survived by her beloved cousin, Teresa Wilkey and her best friend, Peggy Galvin. She also leaves behind her beloved cat “Scout”.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by her Funeral Mass at 9AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8PM. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA 02721 or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 174 Dean Street, Taunton, MA 02780. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
