Paul R. Sullivan, age 59, of Fall River, died Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Kimwell Nursing Home. Born in Fall River, a son of Lillian (O’Grodnik) Sullivan of Fall River and the late John J. Sullivan, he had been a lifelong resident of the city.
He attended the Nazareth School and worked for People Incorporated for many years. He was a communicant of Holy Name Church. He enjoyed spending his summers at St. Vincent de Paul Camp and camping.
An avid bowler, he was a member of the Thursday Night Bowling League and the Nazareth Bowling League. He was active with the Special Olympics and enjoyed swimming and playing basketball. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother; John J. Sullivan Jr. and his wife Carol of Conway, NH, one niece; Deborah K. Hanscom of Hadley, MA, one nephew; Daniel P. Sullivan of Hanover, MA and two great nieces and one great nephew.
His visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial private.
