

A native and lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of Lillian (Souza) Viveros of Fall River and the late Anthony Viveros. He also owned a residence in Sarasota, Florida.
A Veteran of the United States Army, he served as a Sergeant and was a member of the Military Police K9 Unit. He was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and was an entrepreneur having owned and operated Oliver’s Restaurant in Fall River for 28 years, among other small businesses.
Paul ran for Mayor of Fall River, City Council, and Governors Council. He was a member of the V.F.W., the D.A.V., and the Lodge of Elks. Mr. Viveros also enjoyed antique cars, always did things his way and his sons were his top priority.
Surviving in addition to his mother and his former wife, two sons, Seth W. and Ryan W. Viveros both of Fall River, sister, Vivian Viveros Callahan, brother, David Viveros and his wife Mary Lu of Fall River and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and Catherine Powers, his longtime companion.
His Funeral will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 12 NOON in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours Fri. 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 24 Beacon St., #546, Boston, MA 02133 or to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 No. Main St., Suite 2, Clarkston, MI. 48346. Burial will be private.
