Richard G. Ayash, age 80, of Fall River died April 30, 2014 in St. Anne’s Hospital.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, a son of the late Albert and Eva (Harrison) Ayash, he had lived in Fall River most of his life. Mr. Ayash worked at the Water Filtration Plant in Fall River for over 20 years and was a US Army Veteran.
Surviving: a daughter: Kerri B. Ayash and companion Glen M. Marois of Swansea, two sisters: Geraldine Vaillancourt and Lorraine Vieira and husband Edward all of Fall River, a brother: Charles Ayash and wife Joan of California, two grandchildren: Rowan C. and Liam S. Marois and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Leo Ayash.
His funeral will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10 AM in St Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 No. Eastern Ave., Fall River. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude ‘s Children/s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Burial Private. Arrangements in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place in Fall River.
