Robert T. Moser

Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late William and Sophie (Bohun) Moser.

Mr. Moser was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving with the 402nd Military Police Brigade, Fort Ord, CA. After leaving the Army, Bob went on to work as a corrections officer at the Walpole Correctional Facility and Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater for over 10 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 468 in Fall River. An avid lottery player, he also enjoyed playing pool, fishing, digging for quahogs and above all else, spending time with his family.

Survivors include his sons: Shaun Moser and his fiancée Jeanine Oliveira of Somerset and Matthew Moser of Fall River, his grandson Mitchell who adored his “Grampy”, his good friend Sandra Moser of Fall River, his sisters: Anna Costa of Connecticut, Pat Johnson of Florida and Josephine Walker of Fall River, several nieces and nephews including Sophie, Crystal, Nathan and Jason, whom he held close to his heart, many cousins and extended family members. He was the brother of the late Joseph Moser and Stephen Moser and uncle of the late Steph Moser, Joey Costa, Michael Costa and Leslie Walker.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 9:30AM from Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Spring Street Fall River. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Donations in his honor can be made to Veterans Association of Bristol County, 755 Pine Street Fall River, MA 02720. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
