Robert "Bobbie" A. Watson

Robert A. “Bobbie” Watson, age 60 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

Born in Fall River, the son of Ernest Watson Sr. and Kay (Avery) Watson of Fall River, he was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, class of 1981, where he excelled in athletics, particularly baseball. He was also enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program at Bristol Community College in Fall River.

Robbie was employed as a cook for several area restaurants in the greater Fall River area and was a die hard New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his son Markus Watson of Fall River; six siblings, Craig Watson of Fall River, Jacquelyn Watson of East Freetown, Brenda Watson of Fall River; Atty. Julie Watson of Spokane, WA; Ernest Watson Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of New Bedford and Wanda Pothier and her husband Francis of Pascoag, RI; one grandchild, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a great niece.

Robert was the father of the late Tyrell Watson.

His funeral services are private and in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place in Fall River.
