Roger L. Viens Jr.

Born in Fall River, a son of Pauline (Latinville) Britland of Fall River and the late Roger L. Viens, he was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and attended Fischer Junior College.

Mr. Viens worked at the Catholic Memorial Home for the past 22 years, was a member of their Employee Recognition Team and enjoyed taking Seniors to Foxwoods.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his two daughters Tiffany Ahabchane and Monique Moreira both of Fall River, two sisters Bernice Viens and Stephanie Coelho of Fall River, one brother, two grandchildren Leanna and Brandon Moreira, best friends Rodney Hall and Kevin St. Don both of Fall River, his mother in law Carol J. Kerin and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday December 20, 2010 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River followed by a funeral mass at 9AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden St. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7pm. Memorial contribution in his honor may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care 502 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02720. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
