Rose A. Hastie

Born in N. Westport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Blanche (Bussiere) Hebert.

Rose worked as a shipping assembly clerk at Frito-Lay and quality control at United Merchants. Later in life, she enjoyed playing bingo, watching golf and Westerns and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Birkett of Swansea; four sons, Dana Hastie and his wife Lisa of CA, Robin Hastie and his wife Barbara of Fall River, Charles Hastie and his wife Donna of Swansea and Mark Hastie and his wife Lori of NH; one sister, Janet St. Pierre of Fall River; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Rose was the mother of the late Douglas Hastie and Julie Waterman and sister of the late Blanche Bedard, Margaret Dean and Doris Reney.

Her Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
