Scott P. Paul

Scott P. Paul, age 68, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Fall River Healthcare. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Connor) Paul, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, he attended Bristol Community College. He proudly served the Fall River Police Department for many years as a K-9 Police Officer and Drug Enforcement Agent, working alongside his faithful K-9 partner, Ziggy.

Scott enjoyed restoring and fixing antique cars. He cherished spending time with his family and was a wonderful and devoted Dad. He especially loved being out on the water, and enjoyed boating and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Casey Melo and her husband Corey of Fall River; three grandchildren, Kylee Cabeceiras, John Cabeceiras, IV, and Ryleigh Melo; one sister Pamela Livingston and her husband Fred of Braydenton, FL; one brother Doug Paul of Swansea and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lauren Paul.

Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place.
