Susan M. (Ferus) Roque, age 58 of Fall River, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Joseph A. Roque Sr., to whom she had been married for 40 years.
She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Hawksley) Ferus and has been a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Roque was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and received her Associates Degree from Fisher Junior College. She was a certified Child Development Associate and was employed as a Family Day Care Provider for over 20 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her three children Tara Roque, Joseph A. Roque Jr. and Kayla Roque all of Fall River and a grandson Lucas Pereira.
Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 5 to 8PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a brief prayer service at 8PM.
