Tessie Botelho

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Zakalek) Krawetz, she was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School. A longtime Tiverton resident, Mrs. Botelho was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church and was active in the local musicians union. She was employed as the Head Supervisor for Shelburne Shirt in Fall River for 35 years.

She is survived by her two sons Raymond A. and Mark P. Botelho both of Middletown, RI; two sisters Helen Rogers of Tiverton and Marie Ferreira of Fall River; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Michael Krawetz, Ann Astle, Sophie Barboza, Rose Devol and Kada Bernard.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 9am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE 178Winter St., Fall River followed by her funeral mass at 10am in St. Theresa’s Church 265 Stafford Rd., Tiverton, RI. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5 to 8pm. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
