Vincent W. Mis

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Lindo) Mis. Vinny graduated from Bristol Community College in 1968 and received an associate’s degree from the Computer Environment Institute in 1969. He was a Project Manager for Defense Contractors for the Newport Naval Base for 34 years, retiring in 2007.

Vinny was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Stanislaus Church, and the Kosciouski Club in Fall River. He was also a 3rd Degree Knight with Council 4201 in Middletown. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and playing golf.

Besides his wife, Vinny is survived by three sons, Edward V. Mis and his partner Angelique Berry of Somerset, Daniel V. Mis and his wife Jennifer of Natick, and Andrew V. Mis and his wife Bethany of Odessa, FL; six grandchildren, Ava, Jacob, Eli, Emily, Nicholas, and Thaddeus; one sister, Judith Proctor of Sarasota, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Thaddeus W. Mis.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited and kindly asked to proceed directly to the church and arrive no later than 9:45 AM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River.
