Born in Fall River son of the late Walter and Jeannette (Parent) Reed, he was a lifelong resident of Fall River and attended Durfee High School. He was employed as a laborer for area construction companies and was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 610.
Mr. Reed was an Elder in the North Fall River Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving in addition to his wife: one daughter; Sally Wilding of Clayville, RI, one son; Randall C. Reed of Somerset, MA, two sisters; Nancy Brayton of Tiverton, RI and Joan Beausoleil of Bristol, RI, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
