

William B. Rodrigues, “Bill,” age 84, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the Crawford Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Lorraine T. “Winnie” (Wallworth) Rodrigues to whom he has been married for the past 22 years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Joseph and Josephine M. (Carreira) Rodrigues, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, he worked for the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Fall River for many years. Prior to that, Mr. Rodrigues worked in the Garment Industry.
He was a member and worked for the Police Athletic League. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid New England Patriots and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed traveling and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: William Rodrigues and Robert Rodrigues both of Fall River, Ronald Boivin and his wife Anita of Somerset, three daughters: Nancy Rodrigues, Christine Boivin, and Dawn Boivin all of Fall River, two sisters: Lucille Aguiar of Fall River, Ruth Palmer of Ponta Gordo, FL, many grandchildren including; Amanda and Kyle Boivin, Andraya and Ayden Borden and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Theresa Ledoux, Eleanor Guillmette, Phyllis Bettencourt, James, and Raymond Rodrigues.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to his service from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
