Dr. Adrienne Adams Baltimore was born on October 17th, 1961, at Freedman's Hospital in Washington D.C. to Carl Edward Adams and Sarah Thombs Adams. She departed on June 22nd, 2024, in Arlington, Virginia. Adrienne was one of seven children: four sisters (Carlotta, Sonya, Audrey, and Candice) and two brothers (Darrell and Neville). She was raised in Washington D.C. where she graduated from McKinley Tech in 1979. She later attended Tuskegee Institute (Later University) where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology in 1983 and continued to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She returned to Washington D.C. to work in private veterinary clinics. Later, she worked at the United States Department of Agriculture in the Inspection Systems Development Division as a Veterinary Medical Officer. She was recognized for ten-plus years of service as a federal employee. Adrienne met William Baltimore Jr. as a young veterinarian and married on October 20th, 1990. This union was blessed with three children, Monikah, William III (Billy), and Carl. Adrienne held an immense attentiveness to the needs of others and always looked for ways to care for all of God's creations, human or animal. A great example of this includes the many days she spent with her family at Haines Point — her favorite place in the city— Where she would often take her kids on walks to feed ducks around the park. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, caring nature, and ability to bring joy to every room she entered. Adrienne is remembered by her husband William Jr., and their children Monikah Lorraine Osuchukwu; Her husband Chinedu Felix Osuchukwu; William Johnson Baltimore III, and Carl Maurice Baltimore. her grandchildren Children Chinedu II, Chike, Chioma, Amarachi, Felix III, and Chinedu III; Her Siblings Carlotta Adams, Sonya Adams Benlizar (Jesus), Darrell Prentiss Adams (Karen), Neville Edward Adams (Tyika), Audrey Adams Cureton (Eric), Candice Adams Boger (Richard), and many extended family and friends.
