Alejandra Estrada Holgado

In loving memory of Alejandra Estrada Holgado, known to friends as “Dody”, of Falls Church, VA, please join us for a celebration of life service honoring her life on January 11, 2024. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA, at the age of 95. Born in Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines, she moved to the US in the early 1970s. She worked for DC General Hospital as an anesthesiologist through retirement.

She is survived by her loving family, and is the proud mother of Emeline (Richard) Castelli, Melchor (Estrellita) Holgado, Jr., and Alexander (Lourdes) Holgado. Cherished grandmother of Jenilee (Josh) Hallman, Christian Holgado, Jessica Holgado, Stephanie (Jeremy) Haase, Catherine Holgado, and Caroline (Andrew) Healy; and loving great-grandmother of Sylvia, Shane, Sean, Jullian, Jemina, Stella, and Schuyler. Dody will be dearly missed by her friends and families.

Viewing and memorial services will be held at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee

Burial Service: 1:00 - 2:00 pm
