

Amparo Martie Nima was born in Chiclayo to Simeon Saavedra Torres and Amada Salazar Alarcon on April 22, 1940. She went to school in Chiclayo. She married Miguel Rolando Nima on February 10, 1958 in Piura.
She worked as a nurse at a very young for the Military Hospital for several years. She was an entrepreneur and designed her own brand of children's clothes, which she sold to department stores. She also worked at Valentino's salon as a shampoo girl. She then started working at Syms in the alterations department, where she worked for many years, while also working as a seamstress for the Pentagon and a dry cleaner. She then opened up Ceci's Travel Agency with a sewing academy where she taught ladies to make dresses and do alterations. She also took classes to be an esthetician and graduated. Then she opened My First Step Day Care, where she met and touched so many families. She loved this job the most because she always said "I took good care of all my kids".
She was passionate about creating beautiful things, and she started making flower decorations and started making jewelry.
Amparo Martie Nima is preceded in death by Simeon Saavedra Torres, Amada Salazar Alarcon, Martha Saavedra De Reano, Anthony Percy Lujan, Percy Lujan, and Asher Guerra. She is survived by her siblings Edith Duran, Mariela Moreno, Zully Espinoza, Francisca Saavedra and her children Magda Roxana Guerra, Ivan Guerra, Perla Beatriz Schackel, Cecilia Elizeth Lujan, and Samuel M. Lambert. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ivan Gerardo Guerra, Laura Guerra, Maddison Guerra, Samantha Guerra, Natalie Elizeth Guerra, Harold Mendoza, Noemi Mendoza, Sebastian Mendoza, Sean Eric Guerra, Vanessa Andrea Lujan, Shirley Pilar Sobero, Fernando Sobero, Mauricio Sobero, Karin Nima Saavedra, Jochi Pomarino Nima, and Amada Pomarino Nima.
Pallbearers will be Ivan Guerra, Gerardo Guerra, Sean Guerra, Fernando Sobero, and Samuel Lambert.

A visitation will be held at the National Funeral Home, located at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and will be available via live stream at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/c26019796523430.
The committal service will take place at the National Memorial Park, also at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on January 24, 2026.
