Born in Limnos, Greece on November 9, 1953, she emigrated to the United States as a teenager with her parents, Emmanuel and Stavroula Kalarhakis, and her sister, Mallamo.
She lived in the Northern Virginia area all her life, marrying her husband, Elias Noussis, in 1973 who has preceded her in death.
Blessed with a large and loving family she is survived by her children, Frank and Stella Noussis and by her three grandchildren, whom she adored, Elias, Sophia, and Christopher as well as her sister, Mallamo, her nephews, Costa and Emmanuel, and numerous other family members.
Although she had a difficult life full of trials and tribulations, Anna was a person of deep faith and loved the St. Katherine's community with all her heart. She had many friends and joyfully volunteered for decades at the church festivals where she was affectionately known as the "salad lady."
We feel fortunate to have had her in our lives as she was truly one of a kind. May her loving spirit continue to inspire us all.
