Annette J. Evans

Annette Judd Evans, 88 from Massies Mill, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Annette was a long-time school Principal, Assistant Principal and Librarian at many different schools in the United States and abroad. She loved everyone, taught piano and violin, and was a member of Clifford Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harold Clarke Evans. She is survived by her two daughters, Annette Evans Pleszkoch of Amherst, Virginia; and Irene Evans Williford of Reston, Virginia; and son-in-law William Shugart Williford III. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Annette Elizabeth Pleszkoch; and grandsons William (Billy) Shugart Williford IV; wife, Amanda Nabih Williford of Sterling, Virginia; and grandsons Clarke Cox Williford and Harold Evans Williford of Reston, Virginia. Two great grandchildren; William (Liam) Shugart Williford V and Arya Belle Williford of Sterling, Virginia. Annette was predeceased by her brother John Lewis Evans of Roanoke, Virginia. She is survived by her brother Robert Terrell Lee and wife Linda Lee of Lynchburg, Virginia; and Sister Martha Boswell and husband John Boswell of Blythewood, South Carolina. Annette will be interred with her husband Harold at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Arrangements will be entrusted to National Funeral Home, Falls Church, Virginia.
