

Asma was born in Ramallah, Palestine, in 1932. In 1954, Asma was wed to Jack Ayoub, prior to moving to the United States. Asma went on to give birth to her first child in 1956, followed by five more sons over a 17 year span. Asma was a professional florist with a unique talent, creating beautiful floral arrangements for multiple weddings and special occasions for family and her community. In addition to being a devoted mother, Asma was an active member of the D.C Ramullah Club and a founding member of the St Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, in Potomac, Md.
Asma is survived by her six sons, Jack Ayoub, Jr. (Linda), Joseph Ayoub, Robert Ayoub (Rachel), Daniel Ayoub (Jennifer), Larry Ayoub, Mark Ayoub (Reem) and Asma's brother, Munir Ayoub (Laila).
Asma is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole (Rusty Coeburn), Aaron, Rebecca (Benjamin Stine), Sara, Jason, Bryan, Marissa and Mariana Ayoub as well her great grandchild, Giavonna Coeburn and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Asma was preceded by her parents, Khalil A. Ayoub and Mazouzeh Ayoub, husband, Jack Joseph Ayoub, and her siblings, Abdullah Ayoub, Issa Ayoub, Mufid Ayoub, Miriam Hishmeh, and Victoria Audi.
A visitation will be held at Saints Peter & Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 10620 River Rd, Potomac, MD 20854, US, on June 11, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on June 11, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, US, on June 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A Meal of Mercy will follow at the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park, 3111 Fairview Park Dr, Falls Church, VA 22042.
