Darling Barb, you are forever cherished! Thank you for being my friend. You passed away on my birthday and as I think of you this morning, all I see is your beautiful face and feel your joy with light and love.  Forever in our hearts, our Beyer family misses you. Barb created the foundation for art in Falls Church. I am forever grateful; 

Barbara was a true Pillar of the Falls Church and larger Community.  I'm reminded of her hard work, tireless energy, indomitable spirit and wonderful sense of humor.  We in the Community miss her every day.

This is how I will always remember her.  I can see her writing this text with a smile on her face, her forward looking thoughts to art at the farmers market where I was one of her “Regulars”.  For the past five   years I was there representing Falls Church Art. Barb was always there for me and the art community.  She  was a beautiful person,  a mentor. It is just now and I can bring myself to comment on the loss I’m feeling. It is just now  that I can write these words to express how much she meant to me and to offer condolences to you her family - and her words, “Be happy and good till I see you again. Big hug! Barb.”

We were very sad to hear Barb passed away.  She was such sweet person.  Completely selfless, generous and loving.
My childhood memories include picnics the family would have when we were just kids.  I always looked forward to those times.
There is truly another angel in heaven now.  Rest in Peace Barb!
We Love You!

Barbara is my first cousin (her mom was my dad’s baby sister).  I have fond memories of her one summer when we were young playing together at the Chesapeake Bay while our parents visited together.  Living many miles away, I did not get to see her often but her energetic smile and personality was always welcoming to all she met.  She helped me with our family ancestry and our past shared history.  I’m very saddened to lose her but I’m certain she’s in a lovely  sunny garden in heaven right now.  That thought makes me happy.   I’m sending my love and prayers to all her family.  

I was lucky to have Barb as my very first boss at Greenscape while still in high school. She was such a wonderful mentor and her energy was terrific. I look back at my time there fondly. My favorite memories are of decorating the store for Halloween and Christmas. Barb was so creative! I remember the time she hung an upside down Christmas tree in the front window. She was amazing! Sending love and condolences to her family. 

Barbara was a passionate woman with a big heart .  She had an elegance about her.  I will cherish my memories of her and her loving family.  My sympathies to you all.

I worked with Barb back when I was a senior in high school on a coat drive. She was a super sweet lady, lifted everyone up, and dedicated her soul to the Falls Church community and beyond. I am heartbroken that I will never see her again, but she always rests in my heart. Rest in peace Barb. 

Condolences to Brab’s family and friends. I have worked on a variety of Barb’s projects in the past 15 years since moving to FC and working for the City. She was an inspiration to me and so many others.  Always kind, generous and willing to listen. She made me feel special! I will miss her. Thanks for sharing Barb with us.

Barb was my first boss back when Greenscape started in her home on Great Falls Street. She was a mentor, and an incredible role model of strength, resilience, and grace.
Everything I know about gardening, accounting, selling, and managing started with her. But most importantly, she taught me the importance of building relationships and building bridges. Always empowering, she cheered me on - and everyone who knew her.  You have changed the world, my friend, and I will never forget you. With love to your family,

While I hadn’t seen Barb in many years I remember her enthusiasm and leadership in high school. She was a dear friend when we were kids and I have wonderful memories of being with her in Deale Md growing up. That Barb was a mover and shaker in her community doesn’t surprise me at all. It was in her DNA to get something done when she saw it needed tackling. RIP Barb I loved you and the world is a little less bright with you gone. 

My wife Beth and I send our deepest sympathies and our prayers for Barb and all her family. As an active member of several community groups as well as the Arts and Humanities Council led by Barb, I worked with her on various projects related to promoting the history and community of Falls Church  over the years. From Civil War balloons to gardening, she was always an enthusiastic  leader and supporter in such efforts. We could  always count on her enthusiastic support, and leadership where it mattered. Best of all, she did it all with humor and patience. We join you in missing her in many ways, big and small, and thank you for sharing her with all of us.    

I met Barb(ara) through artist friends, especially Isabelle Babington, an accomplished French-born painter who was a major presence on the local art scene. Barb brought all of the pieces together and made it possible for artists to thrive and see their works displayed year after year, supporting their creative outputs and make it known to Falls Churchians and others in the region.
I will miss her warmth, her giddiness, and her overwhelming energy. She put the energizer bunny to shame. I simply could not comprehend where all that intensity came from. I will especially thank her for having opened her home for the first meetings of  the art criticism and artists support group, the Critique, which was co-founded by Babington and others. 
Sorely missed. It was an honor to meet her and I will cherish her memory forever. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Barbara hired me back in the early 1980s  as the accountant for Greenscape Inc, a landscape and interior plants business she was operating at the time.  She is one of those people who most of us would never forget.  I remember her for her kindness and warmth. 
She was truly a wonderful and decent person at heart.  I thank God for Barbara.  She was truly a gift to the world.  

I offer condolences and best wishes to all family and friends.  Thank you for sharing Barbara with us all.

I have known Barb for many years. It was always an adventure! I worked with her doing Christmas decorating (tall ladders, making bows (I’d never be able to count), wonderful and fun co-workers, unending memories. I worked with Barb in her store. I loved her enthusiasm, her never ending energy, her creativity, her laugh - oh her laugh!!! I’m going to miss my friend - we will meet again!!! Until that day help God in his gardens!
