On Saturday, June 8, 2013, Betty Jean Schmidt of McLean, VA. Beloved wife of the late Leo Andrew Schmidt. Mother of Leo (Melissa) Schmidt III, of NYC; Anthony Peter (Elly) Schmidt of California, MD; John Schmidt of McLean, VA; Paul (Janet) Schmidt of Arlington, VA; Lisa Schmidt (Scott) Williams of Eagle River, AK; and Kathy Schmidt (Don) Arndt of Washington, DC. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. A visitation will be held o Friday, June 14 from 5-7 pm at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad Street, Falls Church, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 10:30 AM in St John the Beloved Catholic Church, 6420 Linway Ter, McLean, VA. Interment Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Due to a severe allegery to lillies, the family has requested that all lillies be removed from flower arrangements.
