

After graduation from his town, he obtained Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Baroda University. During the stay in Baroda, he cultivated interest in Indian classical arts. He wanted to take tabla classes, however, they were not available so he took kathak.. He migrated to Bombay to join Premier Automobile as an engineer where he worked for 30 years. During the stay in Baroda and Bombay, away from family and friends, he kept his roots in his village.
In 1990 he migrated to USA with his wife and younger son. In earlier years, he had to struggle hard to settle down. He worked in night shifts at a gas station for years. His son was doing various jobs. After some years he owned a convenient store in partnership. During all these years he kept his family united.
He had undergone a liver transplant. Later on, he had a leg fracture, heart attack and bypass surgery followed by failure of both kidneys and had to undergo dialysis for his entire remaining life. During All these years he faced bravely and silently many crises in health.
Being a simple soul, he was ready to help. He did a lot of social service during his stay in Bombay. After having medical and health crises, family problems and even economical difficulties he was ever smiling, never known to should, even at his wife of a child. He endured all the problems boldly and silently.
He was a karma yogi, gyan yogi and a bhakti yogi, a picture of “A Perfect Man”. He survived by his wife Yashaswati an two sons Mayur and Vipul and a daughter Mayuri.
