Brenda Lee Huff

December 19, 1959 – July 16, 2012

After a courageous battle with brain cancer, BB passed away peacefully at her home in Sterling, VA, with her family by her side.

BB was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Falls Church, VA where she attended Marshall High School. BB was one of five children born to Barbara Morris and the late Melvin Dodd, and was the beloved wife of Stephen Huff for 33 years.

BB will forever be remembered by her devoted sister Linda "Missy" Sheppard, loving brothers Glen Dodd, Donald Dodd, and the late Brad Dodd, beloved children Stephen (Lizzie), Christal (Jason), Tyler (Greggan), and Travis (Jessica), treasured grandchildren Taylor, Stephen, Wyatt, Emma, and Colton, caring in-laws Elwood and Joan Huff, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to have known her. BB loved baking, cooking, laughing, being with her family, and working hard to build and manage multiple successful businesses.

BB touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 17, between 4-9pm at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA.

Memorial service will be held at Reston Bible Church, Sterling VA on Wednesday, July 18, at 10 a.m.

Graveside services will follow immediately at Chestnut Gove Cemetery in Herndon, VA. The family will receive visitors at their home at 134 Magnolia Road in Sterling.
