Carl Holt Glascock passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2019 in Arlington, Virginia. The youngest of 13 children, he was born on July 6,1936, to Rita Fewell and William Henry Glascock in Marshall, Virginia.
His childhood years were spent on the family farm, and he enjoyed playing sports throughout his high school years at Marshall High School.
He married Gloria Jean Dailey on June 1, 1963 at Long Branch Baptist Church in Halfway, Virginia. Together they had three children Carla Jean, Allan Holt, and Lisa Marie. He was the proud Papa of three grandchildren Sarah, John, Joanna, and his great grandchildren Colton, Breanne, Kyleigh, Johnny, and Karly.
He started to work in the warehouse at Morgan Millwork in Arlington, Virginia in 1962. Carl continued to stay with the company even as they changed locations to both Alexandria and Gainesville, Virginia. After 33 years of service and holding many different positions with Morgan Millwork, he retired from the company in 1995.
He was active in the Black Knights Youth Club in Arlington for over 20 years. He was not only a coach, but he also served on a member of the board that had to plan many fundraisers since they didn't have a sponsor.
