

Carol Wolf Katzelnick was born March 31, 1919, the daughter of Jesse and Corinne Wolf in Cincinnati, Ohio, and died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Charter House in Rochester. Born and educated in Cincinnati, she moved with her husband, Harold Katzelnick and two sons to Bethesda in 1962. She worked as a dietitian for many years in the Washington, D.C., area and was very active in many activities at Temple Sinai, Washington, D.C. She moved to Madison, Wis., in 2006 where she lived at Attic Angel Place and then moved to Rochester two years ago. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In retirement, she loved to paint and spend time with her family and friends. She was fortunate to receive wonderful care during her stay at Charter House, and we, her family, are most grateful. She is survived by her son, David (Elizabeth), their children, Leah and Eric; and son, Jeffrey (Randy) and his daughter, Michelle. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. at the National Memorial Park, King David Memorial Garden, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA. 22042. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charter House Benevolent Care Fund. Arrangements under the direction of King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA.
