Catherine Pauline (Kirchner) Wynne passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 97. Born in Washington, D.C., she lived most of her life in Arlington, VA. She attended St. Charles School in Arlington, Holy Trinity High School in Washington, D.C. and College Misericordia (now know as Misericordia University) in Dallas, PA, where she majored in business and music.
Catherine married John Wynne in 1944 and they raised five children: Ann, Mary, Eileen, Patrick and Dennis. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter, Mary.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad St., Falls Church, VA. The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Cathedral in Arlington, VA
