Beloved wife of Sloan Michael Knecht; mother of Margaret Thaler of Riegelsville, PA, Mary O’Connor of Greenlawn, NY, Grace Weeden of Alexandria, VA, Sloan Knecht, Jr. (Mike) of Potomac Falls, VA, Catherine Williamson of St. cloud, MN and the late Joseph B. Knecht. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME, 1102 W. Broad St., (Rt. 7) where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 2. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, July 3 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Spring and Broad Sts., Falls Church, VA. Interment St. James Cemetery.
