Obituary of Christopher Hoynes Louloudakis

IN THE CARE OF

Murphy Funeral Homes

It is with great love and profound sorrow that we announce our beloved son Christopher Hoynes Louloudakis passed away on Thanksgiving evening, November 24, 2022, surrounded by family. Born in Washington DC on April 2, 2014, Christopher spent his early life in Bucharest, Romania, and the past five years in Falls Church, Virginia. His older brother Alexander was his constant companion and best friend. Christopher was funny, curious, had a quick wit and mischievous streak. He was a vibrant spark who brought true joy and light to every room. His joy was infectious. Christopher loved the beach and to swim, having tickled his toes in the sea and sand at the Black Sea, on the Greek Islands, in Miami, Maine, Nantucket, the Chesapeake Bay, Outer Banks, and the Jersey Shore. He loved to travel with his family, and was always eager to learn, asking questions along the way. Christopher put his heart into school. He was adored by his teachers and fellow students. He had amazing social skills, and was loved by everyone, regardless of age. For such a young boy, Christopher had deep faith in God. He loved sharing with his parents stories of the bible and singing songs from choir, where he was a member. Beyond religious songs, Christopher most loved Bruno Mars. He adored his teachers and classmates at Saint James School. He played soccer, basketball, was on the cross-country team and loved to race his brother while biking. He loved his time with Cub Scouts Den 6. For Christopher nothing was impossible. His parents told him – when you have a dream you have to grab it and never let go. Christopher knew that life had twists and turns, but he kept his face always toward the sunshine and let the shadows fall behind. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed, and will be a guiding light to us all. Christopher is survived by his mother, Kara Aylward, his father, Antonios, his brother Alexander, his stepmother, Dimitra, his grandparents Alexandra and Georgios Louloudakis, his aunts and uncles Sean Aylward (Megan), Christine Aylward, Cynthia Aylward, Andrew Aylward (Katy), Ileana Louloudakis (Nikolas Anagnostopoulos), countless cousins and a large extended family. Visitation will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Wednesday, November 30th at Murphy's Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 1st at Saint James Catholic Church, 905 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA 22046.
