

Clarence Vincent Kurylo, of Falls Church, VA, passed away on November 15, 2011. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 26, 1923. Clarence is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years Leticia M. Kurylo; sons Mark (Laurie) Kurylo, Marvin (Cindy) Kurylo and Stephen Kurylo. Grandchildren Matthew (Rebecca)Kurylo, Thomas (Rebecca)Kurylo, Stephanie Kurylo, Stephen Jr. Kurylo and Angelina Kurylo; three great Grandchildren; Anna, Adeline and Josephine Kurylo; his brother Richie Kurylo and sisters Helen Duerr and Lorraine Bzdawka; his niece Martha Ramirez who was just like a daughter; and numerous extended family members.
For 35 years Clarence worked for the Bureau of Public Roads (Federal Highway Administration). He was also involved in the construction of the Alaska Highway System and Pan-American Highway. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish and play golf. Clarence enjoyed listening to Big Band Music and was interested in war history. WWII was his specialty.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 3:00 p. m. – 4:00 p. m. at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042. A Mass will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church 905 Park Ave. Falls Church, VA 22046, followed by interment at National Memorial Cemetary. A lunchun will be served at Victory Gospel Church, 9115 Weir Place, Manassas, VA 20110 at 1:00 p. m. all are welcome.
