Cynthia L. Phares

Of Mclean, VA passed peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2012 with her family by her side. Beloved mother of Darren Phares (30) and his wife, Becky, Aaron Phares (19) and his fianceé, Jen Wolfe, Troy Phares (18) and Ashley Phares (16); as well as two adopted children, Allison Norman and James Johnson; loving daughter of Janice Ewald "Jan' and stepdaughter of Richard Ewald; sister of Brian Gibson and his wife, Mary; and stepsister of Ron Ewald and his wife, Debbie and Michelle Hall. She is also survived by her grandfather, Harry Jack Harbert; six uncles, seven aunts, six nieces, seven nephews, two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, VA from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012 and where a service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012. Interment National Memorial Park Cemetery.
