Beloved son of Sandy and Bud Drutz of Vienna, Virginia died suddenly and tragically on April 19, 2015 after a fall in his home on Richmond, Virginia. He was a graduate of the University of Colorado and received his Master of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia Tech. He was a respected employee of Northrop Grumman at the time of his death.
He leaves behind a grieving family, several cousins, and many loving friends. There will be a graveside service at King David Memorial Gardens at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042, on Sunday May 3 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the home of his parents. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the David E. Drutz Psychology and Neuroscience Scholarship Fund at the University of Colorado Foundation, 4740 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO 80301.
