David Lewis, 89, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018. David was born in Washington, DC to the late Nathan and Bessie (Horwitz) Lewis on November 6, 1928. He joined the United States Army and served from 1951 to 1953. He later became a Logistics Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency and retired after 42 years in 1991.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Bessie Lewis; his brother Blair and sister in law Roslyn Lewis; and his brother in law Ben Ornoff. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sister Linda Ornoff; his niece Fran Cornell (Mike); his nephews Nathan Lewis (Sarah) and Jerry Lewis (Jan); his great nieces and nephews, Michael, Jeremy, Karen, Jami, and Kristen; and host of great great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
David will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11 am at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042,
