I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Dave’s passing.  He was a great man and will be missed.  You’re in my thoughts and prayers, Aunt Gerri.

What an impressive man. The memories are many for me, though I only lived near uncle Dave for less than four years. Lots of visits though. Whether watching "The Hitcher" or "The Verdict" or listening to Huey Lewis & the News' "Hip To Be Square" in the 80s, going crabbing on the bay, or just simply shooting the breeze when I became an adult, Dave made me and everyone around him grateful to be in his presence. Dave was one of the finest men I have ever known. His loss hurts tremendously now, yet the memories and impression he left on me and all of his loved ones remains forever.
