David Lee Padgett of Martinsburg, WV died on August 26, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1945 in Alexandria, VA to the late Elwood and Laura Padgett. He was also preceded in death by his sister Jeanette. Dave served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. After his military service he worked for the US Government and later became a carpenter working in both construction and furniture making. He is survived by his daughter , Laura Padgett and her significant other, Robert Donargo of Catlett, VA, his son, Richard Padgett and his wife Sherry of Ashburn, VA and his brother, Robert Padgett and his wife Carol of Zephyrhills, FL. Also surviving are two nephews, Scott and Christopher Padgett. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 9am to the time of a funeral service at 10am at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. Interment will be in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 12noon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
