Dennis Anthony Peters of Alexandria, Virginia was an incredibly generous, patient, kind, and caring man of boundless imagination, energy, and creativity. He served honorably in the United States Airforce attaining the rank of Sergeant. Dennis had many friends and many adventures owing to his fondness of travel and the oddities that he would find anywhere and everywhere from Lake Havasu, Arizona to Okinawa, Japan to Wilmington, North Carolina to his home in Alexandria, Virginia. He was a loyal son to his parents, caring for them in their last days. Dennis was predeceased by his childhood best friend, Mike, and their mutual friend, Ken. Dennis will always be remembered as a local legend who was larger than life, zooming around town in his silver Lincoln Town Car, wearing a cowboy hat, in search of evermore adventure and bestowing joy and happiness upon all those who had the good fortune to cross his path.
A military funeral service will be held for Dennis at Quantico National Cemetery on May 26, 12:30PM
