Dexter L. Benson Sr., born October 2 , 1922 in Buffalo , N.Y. His wife of many years , Jacqueline S. Benson died in 2015. He is survived by his 2 sons, Dexter L.Benson Jr., and Gregory S. Benson; also leaves 2 grandchildren. He was a First Lieutenant U.S. Army Calvary Veteran of WW II. He vwas a Graduate of Kansas State University and a member of Theta Gamma Fraternity. He also belonged to the 124th Horse Calvary Association, and The American Legion Post 177. He and wife Jacqueline were longtime members of Fairfax United Methodist Church .
