Diane M. Schoenfeld

Diane Maxine Schoenfeld, 66, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on Sunday June 19, 2011. The cause was heart failure. She was born on March 25, 1945 in Washington DC, the daughter of the late Ernest and late Madeline Schoenfeld. She was middle the of 3 children, Estelle the oldest, and Evelyn the youngest. She graduated from Blair High School in 1963. Diane worked with the United States navy for over 20 years, from which she retired, and then went on to work for Lord and Taylor, where has been for over 11 years. In her free time she enjoyed classic movies, and astrology. She is survived by her nephew, Ace Johnson, of Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Schoenfeld was preceeded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine Schoenfeld, and her sisters, Evelyn Schultz and Estelle Schoenfeld. A gravesite service will be held at the King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, Virginia at 1 pm. Arrangements under the direction of National Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA.
