Obituary of Dick Henry Willauer
Dick H. Willauer, age 89, passed peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Nina. He is also proceeded in death by sister-in-law Eva with a surviving husband Bill Carter. He is survived by son Keith; daughter, Sheri (fiancé Gary Richey); granddaughters, Kylee, Sierra & Skylar Brown; brother, Tom (Linda) Willauer; nephew, Matt (Tina) Willauer; niece, Melanie Pfahler and many friends. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Patricia (Jim) Mathis and brother-in-law, Lowell Peters. Dick served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Hawaii until he was transferred to Army Intelligence for the remainder of his duty. From there, he was recruited by the FBI where he was employed for more than 30 years. He worked in many departments including the Blood Lab & Gun Vault but spent most of his career providing technical support for Criminal & Foreign Counter Intelligence investigative activity. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7 at 12:00 pm. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00pm at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Hwy., Falls Church, VA. Interment will be held Monday, June 8 at 1:00 pm at National Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend both. The services will be available virtually through Webex.
