Donald F. Cooper, 88, of North Springfield, Virginia passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on August 5, 2012. Donald was born in Brunswick, Maryland and was a Veteran having served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a devoted husband to Faith S. Cooper to whom he was married for 60 years and who preceded him in death. Donald was a loving, devoted and caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include: Daughter, Donna Cooper of Alexandria, VA; Son and Daughter-in-law, Stephen F. and Gloria Cooper of Mineral, Virginia; Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday August 10, 2012 at Murphy's Falls Church Funeral Home with burial following at National Memorial Park in Falls Church.
