Dorothy Louise Feid, better known as Louise, was born in Washington DC to Dorothy and Edward Irvin. She grew up in Falls Church, VA and attended McLean High School. On May 11, 1990 she married her husband William (Bill) Feid.
Louise worked as an administrative assistance for the Fairfax County Public Schools for over 40 years.
In her spare time she was an active member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Manassas for over 10 years. Louise was also incredibly creative, she dabbled in various crafts over the years with ceramics and cross stitch being her favorite. When she got the opportunity, she loved travelling to the beaches of Hilton Head and Ocean City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Irvin, and one grandchild, James Richard.
Louise is survived by her husband of over 30 years, William Feid; two daughters, Mary Gros of Gainsville, VA and Dawn (Brian) Nelson of Warrenton, VA; One sister, Barbara Cook of Lexington, SC and brother, Ray Irvin of Simpsonville, SC; two grandchildren, Amber Gallerano of Lorton, VA and Tim (Lindsey) Nelson of Centerville, VA; and three great-grandchildren, Damian, Marcos, and Hunter.
Memorials in Louise’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral Services will be held at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10 am followed by a Graveside service in National Memorial Park.
