

Dzung (Young) was born on August 19th, 1973. He had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and his laugh was infectious to everyone around him. A man of many stories, some factual and others not so factual, all that would draw out inspiring conclusions.
Dzung was a man of true integrity, he would never budge under any circumstances, regardless of if anyone had any opinions. A man with an eclectic taste in style, he focused on providing for his wife and child with the best life possible without worrying about himself.
Dzung was a collector of many hobbies: He cherished his Koi fish pond, bowling, watching sports, and loved a piping hot cup of Starbucks coffee to start his morning. He was a sneakerhead at heart and always kept up with the latest fashion trends, Dzung loved a roaring gatherings with family and friends.
His work included selling homes as a realtor and superior barber to many. Dzung was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all he knew.
Dzung was blessed with a loving family. He met his wife, Helen, at their first job, the classic “Golden Arches” we know as McDonalds. They dated for eight years followed by their marriage on October 4th, 1997. Their romance lasted all 39 years and was blessed with a wonderful daughter and grandson. He lived vicariously through his grandson by taking him to the mall for walks and starting his first shoe collection. He brought him so much joy and happiness.
Dzung is survived by his wife Helen, daughter Mindy, son-in law Tony, and grandson Greycen.
Memorials and donations may be given to Helen Vo. The family of Dzung wishes to extend our sincere thanks to his hospice nurse Tiffany and the Inpatient Hospice Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of life service will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. May 22 at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
