Edmund R. "Mick" Burkhart, USAF Ret., passed away on Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at Fairfax Hospital. Born on November 16th, 1932 in Donora, PA, he is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosa Maria, 4 children and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Meghan. Viewing on Sunday, February 14th at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046 from 2-5 P.M. A Mass of Christian burial on Monday, February 15th at 11 A.M. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 7500 St. Philip Ct. Falls Church, VA 22042. Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
