On Tuesday, August 25, 2020, Edward, passed away suddenly at the age of 63 years old. Ed will be forever remembered by his wife of 35 years and best friend, Carol, his children: Christine M. Lacy (Jon); John P. Hillegass (Stacy); Timothy M. Hillegass; Julie M. Hillegass; and grandchildren: Blake and Logan Lacy. He will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters: Michael G. Hillegass, Catherine Hartman, Frances DeBaun and James Hillegass (Becky); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church from 2-4pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at St. James Catholic Church followed by Interment at Quantico National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
